原爆と中国新聞
中国新聞社は米軍による原爆投下によって社員の３分の１に当たる114人が犠牲になりました。戦後は「世界平和の確立」を社是に掲げ、核兵器廃絶と戦争のない世界の実現を目指して被爆地の声を世界に発信し続けています。
A-bombing and the Chugoku Shimbun
The Chugoku Shimbun lost 114 employees, or one-third of its workforce, in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima by the U.S. military. After the war, the company put forth “attainment of world peace” as its guiding principle and, ever since, has continued to communicate stories of people from the A-bombed city with the aim of eliminating nuclear weapons and achieving a world free from war.

広島市の平和記念公園には、被爆の記憶をつなぐ人たちのほか、国内外の指導者も訪れます。2008年に設立した中国新聞社のヒロシマ平和メディアセンターは、ウェブサイトを通じて5カ国語（日・英・中・仏・露）で、こうした動きを国内外へ記事で発信しています。

被爆の記憶 未来に残す 未来を担う
被爆者の記憶を受け継ごうと、若い世代も担い手を務めています。広島市では、子や孫による家族伝承者の養成がスタート。中国新聞社は、中高生の「中国新聞ジュニアライター」とともに原爆や平和をテーマに取材を続けています。
A-bombing memories — To inform the future
Younger generations are also engaged in passing on the memories of A-bomb survivors. Hiroshima has begun training children and grandchildren of A-bomb survivors as ‘Family A-bomb Legacy Successors’ to communicate survivors’ experiences. Alongside its junior and senior high-school student reporters, known as ‘junior writers,’ the Chugoku Shimbun continues its efforts to cover stories related to the atomic bombing and peace.

Divide the footprints of the era related to reconstruction into six categories
Please take a look at the "Pride of Hiroshima" exhibition, a place where you can get a sense of the recovery through the perspective of creators living in Hiroshima, based on documents from 80 years ago that remain at companies that worked hard for the recovery.
